Marie Antonette Quiogue is AG&P’s General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Transactions. She is a practicing attorney at the Romulo Law Firm since 2010, where she advises domestic and international clients on transactional, regulatory and licensing matters, mainly in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Quiogue specializes in negotiations, complex mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project financing and corporate restructuring. She is regarded an expert in her field, and has acted as a resource person for various government agencies in the areas of technology law.
She earned both Master in Business Administration (M.B.A) and Juris Doctor (law) degrees from the De La Salle University-Far Eastern University Institute of Law dual degree program in 2009, graduating valedictorian of her class. During her senior year, she was awarded a scholarship from the Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law, where she took combined business and comparative (US and EU) law courses. In 2016, she earned her Master of Law (LL.M.) degree from Columbia University (New York) and successfully passed the New York State bar the same year.
Tonet was an adjunct professor at the Far Eastern University School of Law, where she taught Securities Regulations and International Public Offerings. She co-authored a series of eight law books entitled “The Bar Review Companion Series”, published by Anvil Publishing. Prior to her law career, she was a TV host, writer and producer.
